Horseback Riding Nothing beats the adventure of heading out on the trail with one of our trusted horses. As you explore the ranch at your own pace discover hidden wonders or just smell the wild flowers. Your horse will be carefully matched to your riding ability, assuring your utmost enjoyment. We offer scenic day trail rides, sunset rides and horse camping opportunities.

Trail Rides
Enjoy a guided trail ride through spectacular back country with a chance to encounter the oak woodland wildlife. During summer months, experience our sunset rides. Cost $60.00/person. 1 1/2 hour - 2 person minimum. Children must be 8 years old to ride. Longer rides are available upon request.

Bring your own horse
Folks with their own horse can explore the Work Ranch trails on your own. Groups of 2 recommended. $25.00/person/day. Check our calendar for scheduled open group rides to get acquainted with riding trails on the ranch.

Horse Camping
If you can't get enough of the Work Ranch, bring your own motor home, tent or trailer and stay awhile. Camping is $40.00 per vehicle/ night and $20.00 per/person/day for the riding fee. For further details call 805-467-3362.

Ladies Riding Retreat
Cowgirls retreat to the country and ride! Grab a girlfriend and treat yourselves to our special riding retreat package. Get a relaxing night's sleep in one of our cozy Farm Stay rooms. Enjoy our delicious home cooked meals and the best local wine you'll ever find! Arrive at 1:00 pm Friday night depart 3:00 pm Sunday. Horses, meals and full overnight accommodations for you and your horse. Bring your own horse if you like. $650 per person, ($500 if you bring your own horse). Visa/Mastercard accepted.
